Scott Gardner



Scott C. Gardner received his undergraduate degree in Political Science in 2005 from Middle Tennessee State University. He received his law degree in 2009 from Vanderbilt University School of Law. While in law school, Scott completed the Branstetter Litigation and Dispute Resolution Program and earned a Law and Business Certificate.  He was also a member of the Moot Court and Mock Trial Boards. Scott focuses his practice in the areas of healthcare operations law, representing hospitals throughout the United States in matters concerning peer review, credentialing, HIPAA, EMTALA, Joint Commission accreditation, board and medical staff bylaws, Anti-Kickback Statute/Stark compliance and various contractual issues. He has completed numerous physician due process hearings and frequently participates in hospital and board meetings to provide guidance.  Scott is currently a member of the American Bar Association, Health Law Section, the Tennessee Bar Association, the American Health Lawyers Association and the Williamson County Bar Association.
