Michelle Koehly



Michelle Koehly graduated from the University of Missouri in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History. Michelle graduated from the University of Missouri School of Law in 2012, also earning a Certificate in Dispute Resolution. While in law school, Michelle participated in the Family Violence Clinic and represented victims of domestic violence across the state of Missouri. She also served on the Executive Board of the Women’s Law Association. Michelle became a clerk at the firm in 2011, and after graduation in 2012 she joined the firm as an associate. Michelle focuses her practice primarily in the area of healthcare operations law, representing hospitals throughout the United States in matters concerning peer review, credentialing, HIPAA, EMTALA, Joint Commission accreditation, board and medical staff bylaws, Anti-Kickback Statute/Stark compliance and various contractual issues. Michelle is presently a member of the American Bar Association, Health Law Section and Young Lawyers Section; Tennessee Bar Association, Health Law Section; American Health Lawyers Association; and Williamson County Bar Association. Michelle serves on the Board of Directors for Franklin’s “My Friend’s House” and is a member of Women of Williamson and Rotary Club of Downtown Franklin. Michelle is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Health Administration from the University of Missouri.
