Robert R. Cook

Bio

Robert R. Cook is a 2001 graduate of the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan and a graduate of Eastern New Mexico University with a major in political science. Robert served honorably in the United States Air Force from 1991 to 1997 where he was stationed in the Middle East during Operation Desert Focus/Operation Southern Watch in 1996. In 2001 he moved to Nashville and became an associate at Baydoun & Reese where he worked in the areas of contract and business law. He became an associate at Buerger, Moseley & Carson in 2002 and became a partner in 2008. Robert currently represents Williamson County as the lead attorney on matters pertaining to contracts, highway issues, information management systems, state legislation and government operations. He has represented the Tennessee County Services Association on telecommunication legislation and was chosen to serve on the Telecommunication Technologies Board. Robert’s involvement in the community includes serving on the Vintage Affair Board and as a member of the Franklin Lions Club. Robert has been a member of the Tennessee County Attorneys Association Board of Directors since 2003 and has served as both Vice President and President for the association. Robert is also a member of the Williamson County Bar Association, the Tennessee Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
